Factory Building completed in 2002 which accommodates three （3） shops of Hull & Plate Shop, Prefabrication Shop and No. 2 Finishing Shop, and many machinery and equipment including 500 ton press required for carrying out the repair work, are installed in the internal of the Factory. Much emphasis has been put on, not only the beauty in appearance, but also employees' working environment on the occasion of building this Factory. For reaching to the top of the Factory Building, you can avail the elevator.

No.1 Finishing Shop is a core of the Dock undertaking mainly the reconditioning work of the main engine and auxiliary machinery, therefore, every ingenuity has been exercised for securing best layout of cranes and other equipment so that said engine's or auxiliary machinery's component parts of various kinds in small quantity are able to be brought into this shop, dismantled from the ship, without delay, and to be duly reconditioned in efficient manner. Keen senses of experienced mechanical staff working in this Finishing Shop do not fail to overlook any slight defect and thus keep playing its role to prevent from any possible trouble that may occur in future due to such defect.

Because of longer life of the ship being accruing, it is required to meet the increasing needs for piping work. For this reason, very spacious surface plate is installed in the Piping Shop of Sanwa Dock. Other facilities such as plural pipe benders, automated branch pipes hack-off device, etc. are fully equipped. Plenty of experienced engineers and skilled craftmen being employed in this piping shop, are undertaking high-integrity piping work in high speed from day to day.
